Ha Nam
Ha Nam is about 50 miles south of Hanoi and after a grueling two hour drive through some of the worst traffic I've seen in Hanoi, we arrived at the Cultural Center of Ha Nam about 15 minutes late.
Ha Nam province had asked us if we could deliver 180 wheelchairs because they were in a need for them. We were only able to bring 65 with us and promised them we would deliver more in 2015.
Accompanying us was Tran Phi Tuoc, former Director for the
Department of international Cooperation at the Ministry of Labour in
Hanoi. Tuoc is a long time friend of the Group and has accompanied
us a few our our journeys to deliver wheelchairs. Tuoc retired last
year and we were delighted when he agreed to accompany us on this
year's trip to Ha Nam.
